Mennel's Candice Wilson to Serve on Virginia Small Grains Board

The Mennel Milling Company's Candice Wilson was reappointed to the Virginia Small Grains Board by Governor Ralph Northam April 5, 2019.

Members are appointed by the Governor of Virginia to manage and approve expenditures of the Virginia Small Grains Funds established in the state treasury. Check-off dollars are funded to programs designed to improve profit potential in growing small grains in Virginia through market development, promotion, education, publicity, and research projects.

Candice serves as processor and represents the grain industry on the Virginia Small Grains Board. She is the Office Manager at Mennel's Old Dominion Grain in West Point, Virginia, where she's worked for more than seven years.

"It is an honor to be selected to serve for another term on the Virginia Small Grains Board," Candice Wilson, The Mennel Milling Company. "I am looking forward to continuing to work with the board and supporting members of our agricultural community as we bring added value to small grains grown in Virginia."
