MMC is growing and hiring for Class A CDL drivers.
The purpose of this position is to provide technical support and strategic improvement to the manufacturing and maintenance departments. This position will develop and maintain plant floor automated data collect systems, analyze data for loss prevention and provide expertise and direction for energy efficiency.

The purpose of this position is to operate and maintain the extrusion plant processing and packing equipment and systems in a safe and efficient manner. This position is responsible for meeting the extrusion production schedule and for producing product that meets established product quality standards and specifications.
The Quality Specialist position is responsible for all new product set- up and formula changes in all production systems. Including management of specifications review for packaging, ingredient and finished products. The Quality Specialist position oversees the document control program and is also a key component in the trace and recall activities.
Vice President of Innovation
The purpose of this position is to lead the R&D, QA, and technical service departments to drive the company’s product development and innovation. This position will ensure that the highest product quality and superior technical service are being met.
The purpose of this position is to work with personnel to ensure customer satisfaction by safely dispatching MMC van fleet and outside carriers. Dispatch trucks by customer orders, appointments and dispatching on time deliveries using solid knowledge base utilizing appropriate equipment and resources.
Rail Car Washer
The purpose of this position is to be responsible for the cleaning of food grade rail cars. The personnel will disassemble, assemble and pressure test 5 pan and 16 pan rail cards.
The purpose of this position is to develop and maintain internal systems; while providing continuous improvement, consulting and software development activities for corporate ERP systems. The employee will be expected to produce high quality code and maintain existing customizations on our ERP system.
Junior Microsoft Dynamics Application Administrator
This position is responsible for the Dynamics system to provide effective administration of the Mennel Milling Dynamics 365 for Operations system which includes system configuration, software release management and user management. Responsible for troubleshooting and problem resolution of Dynamics 365 as well as the management and monitoring of system resources and performance.
The purpose of this position is to complete the processing, transferring, packing, loading, shipping and receiving of all outbound and inbound materials while maintaining sanitation throughout the blend-plant and warehouse to ensure safety, food safety and sustain an infestation-free facility.
Learn and Earn with Operations and Maintenance Apprentice Opportunities
Mennel’s Apprenticeship Program is ideal for high school or community college/tech school graduates who reside in or adjacent to the counties in which Mennel operates. The selected candidates will enter the program as summer help while completing the 90-day introductory period.
On-the-job training and job shadowing responsibilities are key benefits of the program. Apprentices work full time at an assigned Mennel facility gaining real-world, practical experience.
And the best part … Mennel pays the apprentice’s salary as well as schooling fees; however, the employee is required to pass all coursework with a letter grade of “C” or better.
Operations Apprenticeship: Candidates will spend the first year in core curriculum classes with a focus on electrical and fundamentals of leadership. Year two will include participation in one of two industry short courses.
Maintenance Apprenticeship: Candidates will spend the first year in core curriculum classes with a focus on electrical and fundamentals of the maintenance department. Year two will include advanced electrical and welding courses.Learn more
Learn and Earn with Internship Opportunities
Mennel’s Internship Program is conducted over a 90-day period at one of our many sites. Interns will be selected to participate as part of an application and interview process. A work schedule will be developed and tailored to meet your needs and interests, and includes diverse experience across all functions of the organization. You will not only observe work being done in those areas, but will complete the work themselves to ensure a “hands-on” experience. Learn and Earn with Our Milling Science and Management Scholarship
Our Milling Science and Management Scholarship award will allow for non-Kansas resident students to attend Kansas State University at the cost of in-state tuition. If awarded, the scholarship will cover the difference (an approximate $10,000 per year value.) In addition, the Mennel scholarship will provide for an additional $1,000 per year to cover student travel expenses.
To be eligible, the student must be enrolled full-time in Milling Science & Management – Operations curriculum at Kansas State University. Also, any high school graduate or college transfer who resides in any of the below states in which Mennel operates, are eligible for consideration: Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, and Virginia. Scholarship applicants must have maintained at least a 3.0 GPA in high school and scored a 21 or higher on the ACT standardized test.
Scholarships will be awarded on an annual basis up to a maximum of four years. The scholarship may renew for the next school year if the student remains in good academic standing while enrolled at Kansas State University.
