Mennel is a progressive company with a rich history. With over 140 years of experience in the flour milling industry, The Mennel Milling Company has recently grown to include other strategic business ventures including over 30 sites in 7 states.
This growth has been guided by the vision and leadership of the Mennel family, now in its fifth generation, as well as the hearts and hands of over 1,000 dedicated employees.

- It takes over 3,400 acres of wheat production to supply our mills for one day.

- You won’t find our name on the store shelf; however, our flour is widely used in many brands of cake mixes, cookies, snack crackers, breading, batters, gravies, soups, ice cream cones, pretzels, oriental noodles, and regionally-branded breads that you would recognize.
- Our bakery mix is used by major branded food companies and popular restaurant chains.
- We employ our own transportation team and offer warehousing services to ensure a seamless process for all of our partners.
- The line under “nel” in our logo is indeed intentional, as it’s strategically placed to help with the pronunciation of our name.
