Mennel Leave a Legacy Campaign Supports 70 Local Charities

Mennel launched the second annual Leave a Legacy campaign companywide on Nov. 1.
Like the Giving Tuesday movement, Mennel’s program aims to support worthwhile organizations as well as provide a special opportunity to help direct a portion of our 137-year-old organization’s charitable giving budget.
This year, more than 200 employees’ requests were received, contributing approximately $25,000 in donations to local charitable organizations across six states.
Aside from Mennel’s $100 donation per employee request, 82 employees personally donated nearly $5,000 to charities with gifts ranging from $10 to $100 each.
