Mennel Honors Baney as Operational Excellence Award Recipient

At the close of each fiscal year, the Mennel Operations leadership team selects a distinguished recipient for the division’s Operational Excellence or Plant of the Year award. This year, we are proud to announce Andrew Baney, Director of Business Planning & Analysis, as the deserving recipient.
Established nearly 15 years ago to recognize exceptional performance, celebrate meaningful results, and inspire healthy competition across the organization, this annual tradition highlights individuals or facilities that exemplify operational discipline, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The winner(s) earn the right to display the division’s traveling trophy in their office or facility for the year.
Although Andrew officially reports through our Supply Chain Division, he works closely with Operations every day and is considered an essential part of the team. His leadership in daily production planning, reporting, and cross‑functional coordination has strengthened alignment between Operations, Sales, and Transportation - bringing groups together around shared goals and improving overall efficiency.
