Toledo Flour Mill Welcomes First Ship Under Mennel

Mennel Milling’s newest flour mill, the Toledo Flour Mill, recently marked a milestone by unloading 10,723 tons (just under 400,000 bushels) of soft wheat from a vessel in approximately 24 hours — the first ship received under Mennel leadership since acquiring the facility in 2025.
The achievement highlighted not only the scale and capability of the Toledo operation but also the coordination, efficiency, and dedication of the entire team involved in handling a shipment of this size. Located along the Maumee River, the Toledo Flour Mill is one of the largest soft wheat flour mills in the United States and serves as a strategic hub for supplying flour to customers throughout the region.
